He was predeceased by: his parents, Nevin E., Sr. and Ida V. Smith (Ahner); and his siblings, Mary Ondush and Geral Smith. He is survived by: his wife Sara "Ginny" V. Smith (Spotts); his children, Tammy R. (Jason Mathisen) of Lehighton, Amanda S. Gostonyi of Palmerton and Joshua T. Smith (Kerin); his grandchildren, Benjamin, Amanda, Ava and Evan; his stepsons, Bill Hunter of Langhorne and Chris Hunter of Osceola, IA.; his stepgrandchildren, Joe, Jordyn and Jace; his sisters, Barbara Hunsicker of Lehighton and Carol Hunsicker of Jim Thorpe; and his former wife Debra R. Lilly (Walters) of Lehighton.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Campton Funeral Home (525 Delaware Ave, Palmerton, PA 18071). The military honors was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
