He was predeceased by: his parents, David E. Thomas and Nellie Thomas (Clark); his wife Shirley F. Spory; his son James Thomas; his sisters, Margaret Block and Evelyn Miller; and his daughter-in-law Bonnie Spory.
He is survived by: his children, Dale Spory (Joann), Walter Thomas (Melissa), Shirley Paruch, Gloria Carnill and Kenneth Thomas; and his friend Paul Angert. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
