He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Bumbarger and Sara Catherine Bumbarger (Keeler); his former wife Alverta L. Bumbarger (Blough); his wife Donna N. Mowery Bumbarger (Holsopple); his granddaughter Farah Bumbarger; his great grandchild Everett Barnick; his siblings, Carl, John Bumbarger, Nancy Peterson and James Emert; and his brother-in-law James Peterson.
He is survived by: his children, Lois Howard (Roger), Diane Blair, Cheryl Philip, Carol Barnick (Larry), Wilma Horner (Bruce) and Robert Bumbarger, Jr. (Cindy); his grandchildren, Abraham Howard (Shana), Sarah Hladinec (Chris), Lexie, Alex Blair, Danielle Hutton (Brian), Nicole Polenik (Kenny), Matthew Barnick (Jessie), Justine Montgomery (Jeremy), Elizabeth Horner (Jeremy Hay), Michael Bumbarger (Lindsey) and Allysa Bumbarger; his great grandchildren, Summer, Coleton Howard, Eva, Gage Montgomery, Carson and Kinsley Barnick; and his close friend Nancy Gisbrecht.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Laurel Trinity Lutheran Church (7520 Somerset Pike, Boswell, PA 15531). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
