With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Penelope E. Sopich of Boswell, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 19, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Penelope's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Penelope has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph M. Sopich; her brother Dwight "Dites" Jacobs, Jr.; and her siblings-in-law, Doris O'Connor and David Sopich. She is survived by: her children, Michael Sopich (Barbara) and Danielle Sopich (Michael Pyle); her grandsons, Justin Fogle and Jacob Pyle (Isabella Ream); her brother Edmund "Jake" Jacobs (Elizabeth Campbell); and her sisters-in-law, Nancy Sopich and Nancy Jacobs (Null). She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and her four pet cats.
