She was predeceased by: her parents, George, Sr. Stoppe and Gladys S. Stoppe (Mullen); her husband James J. "Porter" Reffner; and her brother Walter "Bim" Stoppe. She is survived by: her children, Gregory Scrimager (Judith), Debra (David Battista), Melissa Sheeler (Scrimager) and Kimberly Kriak (Reffner); her grandchildren, Kristi Jo (Chad Lisbon), Gregory Scrimager (Meaghan), Jacob Scrimager (Megan), Chelsea Pluta, Chloe Battista, Cody Shaw (Michelle), Hunter Shaw, Parker Shaw and Levi Sheeler (Charlotte); her great grandchildren, Connor Lisbon, Maisie, August, Violet Scrimager and Harrison Shaw; and her brothers, George Stoppe, Jr. (Nancy), Robert Stoppe (Patricia), William "Gabo" Stoppe (Joann) and Richard Stoppe. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
