He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Troester and Doris Troester (Campbell); his daughter Hope Edwards; and his brother Robert James Troester. He is survived by: his daughter Michelle Edwards; his former wife Sandra Edwards-Troester; his grandchildren, Thomas Mettee, Alyssa and Ashtyn Edwards; his great grandchild Eliza Mitchell; his siblings, Janet Schneider and Rev. Louis E. Troester, III (Cherie); and his friend Don. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
