He was predeceased by: his parents, John S., Sr. and Faye E. Matkoskey (Gettings); his wife Virginia "Jenny" Matkoskey (Koba); and his brothers, Johnny and Nick Matkoskey.
He is survived by: his daughters, Christina (Kenny Keepes) and Danielle Matkoskey; his grandchildren, Henry and Evelyn; his siblings, Peggy Wilkins, Pam (Brian Costea), Tina (Jeff Shaffer) and George Matkoskey; and his parents-in-law, Randy Koba (Lori), Patty Joyner, Rosemary "Red" Bellinder, Annie Matkoskey and Kasey Waite. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and beloved pets.
