He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Allison Moon and Twila Geraldine Keim; his son Matthew Stephen Moon; his siblings, Aldine F. Thomas, Gerald O. and Rodney D.; and his brother-in-law Donald E. Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Debra Jeanne (Grant); his daughter Michele D. (Robert J. Lamkin, Jr.) of Hollsopple, PA; his grandchildren, Kennedy E. Moon, R. James Lamkin, III and Hannah J. Lamkin; his sister-in-law Helen R. Moon; his niece Joy E. (Jeff Roberts); his nephews, Scott (Sara Thomas), Bradley (Amy Thomas), Gerry (Kathy Moon) and S. Eric (Sara); his great-nephew Steve (Tiffany Grant); and his niece Anneliese Grant. He is also survived by his family and friends.
