She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Koontz and Etta Koontz (Oakman); her husband Robert W. Emerick; and her brothers, Ralph "Butch" (Joan Koontz) and Lloyd Oakman.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jessica and Joshua; her great grandchildren, Ben, Luke, Jacob, Gionna and Jaxson; her great great grandchildren, Iyla and Matteo; and her brother Charles (Karen Koontz).
