He is survived by: his wife Rosalie F. Bates (Burkins); his daughter Roseann Pirillo (Michael); his grandchildren, Gianna, Michael and Joseph Pirillo; his siblings, David Bates and Diana Bates; and his sisters-in-law, Emmie Bates and Ricci Burkins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in William's memory to Restoration Presbyterian Church (PCA), 2655 Chichester Ave., Boothwyn, PA 19061.
