He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Franklin Holmes and Laird Ervin. He is survived by: his parents, Tamu Garrett and Renee Macklin; his sons, Junior and Taevon Jr.; his grandmothers, Blondena Garrett and Sandar Macklin; his siblings, Shakiyl Smith, Janay Oliver and Tahmir Lowrie; his godparents, Jerome Porter and Fatima Reed Wright; and the mother of his child Deshona McNeil. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of special friends.
