He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Varrasse and Elizabeth Varrasse; and his sister Jeanne Varrasse. He is survived by: his children, Victoria Carey (Norman), Jacqueline MacDonald (Kevin), Nicole Pharaoh (Joseph), Richard Varrasse Sr. and Miranda McPhillips (Diana Varrasse); his siblings, Kevin, Steve, Fred, Michael, Geoff Varrasse, Mary Williams, Liz Hoch, Anita Boyd, Theresa Ebinger and Julie Roybuck; and his grandchildren, Theresa, Nolan, Mara, Dylan, Maeve, Addison, Molly, Annalise, Harper, Maggie, Izzy, Tommy and RJ.
