He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther King and Clara Honecker King; his former wife Margaret "Peggy" Kelleher King; his wife Josephine A. King; his daughter Kathleen King; and his granddaughter Jordan Garber.

He is survived by: his children, Margaret Reeves, Ruth (Chip Garber), Raymond (Patricia King), Theresa King (Patricia) and Gerry Pepeta; and his sister Oneda King. He is also survived by stepson, John News; 15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren.

The family suggests memorial contributions in Raymond's honor which may be made to either the Wounded Warrior Project (support.woundedwarriorproject.org) or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (stjude.org).
