He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Ostan and Dolores Matthews Ostan; and his brothers, Stephen R. Ostan and David E. Ostan. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ostan; his sons, James Jr. (Lindsay), Mark (Christina Carlin), Scott and Russell Ostan (Katie McKeown); and his sisters, Deborah Phillips and Diana Lynn Kelly. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
