She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar J. Empfield and Alice Empfield (Silk); her husband James K. Felton; and her close friend Margaret Filitske. She is survived by: her daughters, Krista Platt and Jenifer Loveridge (Christopher); her grandsons, Caleb Platt, Brayden and Logan Loveridge; her sister Deborah Empfield; and her nephew Brandon Bateman.
