He was predeceased by: his brothers, Edwin Nailor, Melvin Nailor, Wayne Nailor and Paul Nailor. He is survived by: his children, William L. Nailor, Jr. (Linda), Ray L. Nailor (Peg), Carol A. Hippensteel (David), Wayne E. Nailor (Susan) of Carlisle and Carey "Curt" Welsh of Carlisle; his siblings, Maynard Nailor, Ruth Robinson of Tampa, Viola Zettlemoyer (Skip) of Enola, Helen Hair of Carlisle, Betty Noss (Roy) of Carlisle, Joyce Nailor of Carlisle, Evelyn Walter (Harold) of Carlisle and Marion "Dolly" Bigler (Lloyd Pontius) of Carlisle; and his grandchildren, Bill Nailor III, Matt Nailor and Kristen Woodend. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
