He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roy O. Spangler and Daisy A. Spangler (Etter); his sister Marian Gardner (Andrew Gardner); his wife Mary L. Spangler; his sons, James C. Spangler (Carol) of Birdsboro, PA and Donald L. Spangler (James D. Brooke) of Durango, CO.; his grandson Joseph A. Spangler (Eileen) of Wilmington, DE; his great grandchildren, Julie and Courtney; his grandson Michael J. Spangler of Reading, PA.; his niece Linda A. Mumper (Randy); and also Lindsey.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there will be no viewing or graveside funeral service at either Ronan Funeral Home or at Mt. Zion Cemetery. When the pandemic situation subsides, there will be an informal family and friends gathering in honor of Roy Spangler at a place and time that will be decided upon at a later date.
