It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Fern M. Gutshall of Boiling Springs, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 17, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tolbert Murphy and Ida Murphy (Smith); her husband Ralph Gutshall, Jr.; and her siblings, Timothy Murphy, Terry Murphy, Jane Myers and Fay Finkey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tina Gutshall of Boiling Springs and Karen Lenhart (Ken) of York, PA; her grandson Kenny Lenhart; her great grandchild Scarlett Lenhart; her pet Laci; and her brother Patrick Murphy of Boiling Springs.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St John Evangelical Lutheran Church (111 Walnut St, Boiling Springs, PA 17007). A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at the Prospect Hill Cemetery (124 Carlisle Rd, Newville, PA 17241).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her church, St John Evangelical Lutheran Church.
