He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Donaldson, Sr. and Lillian Donaldson; and his wife Janet R. Donaldson. He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Donaldson Briscoe (Kevin) of Boalsburg and Susan Weaver Jackson (Dave) of Bellefonte; and his sister Nancy Weaver (Barry) of Cheyenne Wyoming. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
