It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rebecca Leggett of Boalsburg, Pennsylvania, born in Washington, North Carolina, who passed away on July 9, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Duard Stockran Swain, Sr. and Annie May Newberry Swain; her husband Ashley Gray Leggett; her daughters, Denise Ishler, Rhonda Butler, Janet Butler and Geraldine Butler; her granddaughter Kendra Hockenberry; and her siblings, D. S. Swain, Jr. and June Linawearer.
She is survived by: her daughter Desiree Evans of Spring Mills, Pennsylvania. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; four step-grandsons; one foster grand-daughter and numerous great-grandchildren.
