He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Gilbert and Jean Reifsnyder Gilbert. He is survived by: his wife Bernadine Dorothy Confer; and his sons, William Gilbert (Vickie) of Boalsburg and Allen Gilbert (Lucinda) of Port Matilda. He is also survived by two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
