He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter E. Rhodes and Regina Meadows Rhodes; and his brother Walter L. Rhodes. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jeanne "BJ" Rhodes (Heil); his daughters, Deborah L. Rhodes of Bucks County and Becky S. Thompson (Samuel C. Thompson Jr.) of Port Matilda; his grandchildren, Daniel, Grace Thompson-Rhodes and Samuel C. Thompson III; his brother Robert E. Rhodes (Linda) of Duncansville; and his sister-in-law Verna "Dee" Rhodes.
