He is survived by: his wife Lois Swanger (Berkey); his brothers, Donald Swanger (Buck) and Gerald Swanger (Jake); his children, Joseph Swanger and Virginia Swanger; and his stepchildren, Trudy McCrea, Craig Strapel and John Strapel.
