He is survived by: his wife Barbara Vinson; his parents, Kaye Vinson and Betty Vinson; his child Don; his spouse Johanna Gaal; his sister Pat Gearhart; his nephew Cary Gearhart (Jennifer) of Massachusetts; and his niece Holly Schweikert (Steve) of Arizona.
