Charles Hess Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Hess (Boalsburg, Pennsylvania), who passed away on October 7, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Hess and Mary Kathryn Hess (Thompson); his wife Catharine Baney; and his siblings, Bill Hess and Marie Whitacre.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kathy Jo Raczka (David) of Higganum, CT and Beth Ann Hess (Elaine Perry) of Stonington, CT; his grandson David Charles Raczka (Karisa Lavasseur); his great grandchild Isla Katherine Raczka; and his sisters, Betsy Barto (Merle) of Port Matilda and Virginia Brobst of San Jose, CA.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Charlie's memory may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, Boalsburg Pa.
