It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ashley Leggett Jr. (Boalsburg, Pennsylvania), born in Washington, North Carolina, who passed away on December 28, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ashley G. Leggett, Sr. and Grace Leggett (Corbitt); his daughter Denise Ishler; his granddaughter Kendra Hockenberry; and his brother Lewis Corbett Leggett (Betty).

He is survived by: his wife Rebecca J. Swain; and his daughters, Rhonda Butler (Terry) of Howard, Geraldine Butler (Boe) of Woodward, Janet Butler of Aaronsburg and Desirèe Evans (Thomas) of Spring Mills. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, four step grandsons, one foster granddaughter, 20 plus great grandchildren, one niece and one nephew.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Ashley may be given to Our Lady of Victory Church, 820 Westerly Parkway, State College, PA 16801 or to Saint Kateri Tekakwitha Church, 3503 Penns Valley Road, Spring Mills, PA 16875.
