He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Sprankle and Pauline Sprankle (Stouter); his wives, Joanna Sprankle Buhrman (Benchoff), Caroline M. Sebold Sprankle (Kepner) and Lucille Eberly Sprankle (Wolfkill); his siblings, Dorothy L. Sprankle, Dolores Sprankle Mummert, Jerry Sprankle, Donald Sprankle and Lewis Sprankle; and his stepchildren, Terry Sebold and Melissa Sebold.
He is survived by: his daughters, Virginia "Ginny" Parks (Douglas), Margaret Hettich (Ron) of Cascade, MD, Barbara Leverone (Bob) of Charlotte, NC and Lisa Donohoe (Barry) of Waynesboro, PA; his stepchildren, Carrie Sebold Skalecky, James Sebold, Vivian Sebold Fitez and Thomas Sebold; and his siblings, Esther A. Hrivnak of Ocean, NJ, Leo I. Sprankle of Greencastle, PA and L. Helen Eakle of Okatie, SC. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
