He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry B. Plowman and Betty J. Plowman (Lambiotte); his son Michael Plowman; and his sisters, Lisabeth Rogers, Valerie Walter and Rebecca Plowman.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jon Plowman (Mari) of Florida, Chris Plowman (Susie) of Maumee, OH and Kathy Winkler (Jim) of Waynesboro. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
