He was predeceased by: his parent William B.; his brother John McAuliffe (Jack); his sister-in-law Marie McAuliffe; and his daughter-in-law Veronica. He is survived by: his parent Marguerite McAuliffe Sr (Bittner); his wife Mary Elizabeth (Donohoe); his sister Peggy Mackle (Joe); his siblings-in-law, Alice Smith (Jay), Don Keiser (Jane) and Joe Donohoe (Vera); and his children, Beth, Burton of Oakton, VA, Bill III (Linda), Michael (late Veronica), Dublin, Ireland, Patrick (Annie Axtmayer), Thomas (Marisa), Richard (Sue), Colleen Flynn (Ron) of Tucson, AR and Maureen Cannon (Phil) of Georgetown, MA. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.
