My husband, Sidney (1919-1996) arrived with Len from Leicester, England to work at Great American Knitting Mill, where I, as Sidney’s wife, also worked for over 20 years. I remember Len came to my office every morning and said, “Morning Sweetie” and gave me a hug. He was such a warm and kind-hearted man. - Sophia Jinks”
