Rodney C. Wood Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rodney C. Wood of Blossburg, Pennsylvania, born in Troy, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 25, 2024 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Nancy Alexander; his brother Rick Wood; and his stepfather Lyle Alexander. He is survived by: his children, Chase Bartlett (Misty) of Mansfield, PA and Donelle Walton (Kyle) of Levittown, PA; his grandchildren, Carson Bartlett, Dean and Kylie Walton; his siblings, Wendy Murray (Jon) of King Ferry, SC, Randy Wood (Lynn) of Anchorage, AK, Russell Wood (Carmen) of Arnot, PA and Roger Alexander (Cathleen) of Liberty, PA; and his nieces and nephews, Tiffany, Randi, Cris, Chelsea, Zachary, Sarah, Shelby and Matthew.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 29th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, August 30th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. (637 S Main St, Mansfield, PA 16933). A memorial service was held on Friday, August 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Rodney's name to The Heyward House, 745 N. Negley Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15206.
