It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence H. Mitchell of Blossburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 1, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Mitchell and Stella Mitchell (Novitski); and his children, Larry J. Mitchell and Teri Mitchell. He is survived by: his daughters, Joanne Krajek of Wellsboro, PA, Cindy Mitchell of Mansfield, PA, Chris Walls of Covington, PA, Julie Mitchell of Wellsboro, PA, Kate Aungst (Guyle) of Pine Grove, PA and Patti Coolidge (Chuck) of Wellsboro, PA; his daughter-in-law Sue Mitchell of Middlebury Center, PA; and his siblings, Joseph Mitchell (Ruth), Bill Mitchell (Joyce), Evelyn Fredrick of Blossburg, PA and Rose Bixby (Bud). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to the Texas Children's Hospital.
