He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond J. Heidger and Pearl Heidger (Bucher); and his wife Barbara M Chesnick. He is survived by: his siblings, Beverly (Ted Laubach) and Dr. Robert Heidger (Terri). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
