She was predeceased by: her parents, Oden Pursel and Valeria Pursel Shaffer (Whitenight); her husband Glenn M. Spayde; and her brother Robert F. Pursel. She is survived by: her daughter Debra A. Crawford of Bloomsburg; her grandsons, Jason L. Crawford (Barbara) and Bryan G. Crawford (Kimberly); her great grandchildren, Kaitlynne Crawford, Menasha, Wis, Trystan Crawford and Payton Crawford; and her sister-in-law Joy G. Pursel.
