It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma Knorr (Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania), born in Mifflinville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 2, 2018, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Charles Young; her siblings, Viola Michael, Elizabeth Shoemaker, Hazel Pennypacker and Pierce Young; and her stepbrother Robert C. Young.
She is survived by: her parent Anna Young (Shannon); her husband Paul Henry Knorr; her sons, Larry P. Knorr (Sylvia) of Millville, Norman LaRue (Jane Linn) of Fowlersville and Chuck Knorr of Briar Creek; her grandchildren, Diane Gardzalla, Christopher, Drena, Dirk, Brandyn Knorr, Cabyn Switzer and Jeffrey C.; and her great grandchildren, Hanna, Benjamin, Whitney, Jendyn, Kale, Reece, Alexis, Reagan and Alli.
Thelma lived her life as she prayed every day, "Help us Lord to be ever mindful of the needs of others." In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to North Centre Township Historical Society Inc., 1059 Suite 1, St. Rt. 93, Berwick, PA 18603.
