He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Shuman and Katherine Shuman (Troy); his wife Gladys Eddinger; his grandson Bradley Shuman; and his great grandchild Julia Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Sterling E. Shuman Jr. (Jing) of Port Deposit, MD, Guy M. Shuman (Charlotte) of Ocean Springs, MS, Douglas P. Shuman (Nancy) of Forest Hill, MD and Barbara Shuman (Thomas Dy). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the James L. Hinckley Jr. Funeral Home and Cremation Services (1024 N Market St, Berwick, PA 18603). A graveside service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Elan Memorial Park (5595 Old Berwick Rd, Bloomsburg, PA 17815).
