We are sad to announce that on January 13, 2024, at the age of 81, Sally Jane (Brooking) DeFrain (Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul H. Brooking and Lillie S. Brooking (Tressler); and her siblings, Sam P. Brooking and Rose N. Brooking. She is survived by: her husband Ralph W. DeFrain, Jr.; her children, Lillie Jane (Steven Auten) and Ralph P. DeFrain (Beth) of Bloomsburg; and her sisters, Hester Edwards of Bloomsburg and Mary M. Bellum of Bloomsburg. She is also survived by three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

She is fine in heaven but it's the people left behind that struggle with the empty whole in our lives. I'm sorry we could not attend the service but our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
