With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Zimmerman (Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania), born in Zion Grove, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 5, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Laura Houser (Lutz) and Jeremiah Houser; her husband William 'Zip' Zimmerman; her grandson Bruce Zimmerman; her son-in-law Rohn Burrage; and her siblings, Allen Houser, Alvin Houser, Luther Houser and Dolores Maurer.
She is survived by: her children, Betsy (Terry Groff), Laurie Burrage, William Zimmerman, Jr. (Nancy), Thomas Zimmerman (Sandy), Kenneth Zimmerman and David Zimmerman (Christy); and her brother Clyde Houser. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren along with nieces and nephews.
