She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Wegrzyniak and Sophie Wegrzyniak (Ochab); her son James R. Kistler; and her brother Joseph Wegrzyniak. She is survived by: her husband James Kistler; her children, Robert Kistler (Patricia) of Richmond, KY and Susan LaRouche (Thomas) of Bloomsburg; her daughter-in-law Nanci Jo Kistler of Bloomsburg; her grandchildren, Renea Sokol (Chad), Dakota Kistler (Jamie), Lauren LaRouche and Emily LaRouche; and her great grandchildren, Cameron Sokol, Nathan Leiby and Scarlett Sokol.
