He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Sponenberg and Helen Sponenberg (Fausey); and his siblings, Wilbur Sponenberg Jr. and Janet Hess. He is survived by: his wife Francie Sponenberg (Derr); his sons, Eric Sponenberg and Brett Sponenberg (Tesa) of Bloomsburg; his pet Blizzard; his granddaughters, Erica Sponenberg, Mandy Jo Sponenberg and Sutton Sponenberg; his sisters, Mary Lou (Bernie Musselman), Shirley Collins, Sandy Sponenberg and Rose Ackerman; his brother-in-law LeRoy Hess; and also Along. He is also survived by his two sons and close friends.
