He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Hashagen and Dora Hashagen (Baker); his wife Jessie Getkin; and his siblings, Fred, William Hashagen, Mae Thomas and Geraldine Rhodes.
He is survived by: his children, Robert "Bob" A. Hashagen Jr. of Danville, Brenda Bennett (Donald Jr.) of Bloomsburg, Linda Hashagen of Washingtoville and Bonnie Auman (Terry) of Elysburg; and his sister Betty Stine of Catawissa. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.
