He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jr. Brooking and Lucille Brooking (Millard); and his brothers, John III and Carl. He is survived by: his sisters, Margaret "Peggy" Keefer (Atlas), Donna Lemon (Terry), Joanne Brooking of Plainfield, VT, Nancy Maynard of Raymond, ME, Bertelle Brooking (Marshall Raisman), Dorothy Brooking (Susan Horn), Alice Derr (Ronald) and Myreta Churba (Richard); and his sister-in-law Luanne Brooking of Massena, NY.
