He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas E. Shaffer II and Jean Shaffer (Morgalis); and his aunt Sheryl Cope. He is survived by: his brother Anthony B. Shaffer (Tammy Stroud) of Sweet Valley; his niece Mya J. Shaffer; his nephew Garrett A. H. Shaffer; his uncle Rev. Edward Cope of Bloomsburg; and his cousins, Paul Cope, Ann Marie Parker (Glenn), Deborah Ann Rupright (Craig) and Elisabeth Cope.
