With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis P. (Deaner) Fisher (Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania), who passed away on August 20, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Deaner and Florence Deaner (Johnson); and her sisters, Jacqueline Deaner and Melvina Carl. She is survived by: her husband Charles A. Fisher, Jr.; her children, Brian P. Fisher, Colton L. Fisher (Sharon) of Bloomsburg and Holly (Mark Dawson) of Millville; her grandchildren, Kristen (Sean Houge) of Danville, Corey James Fisher (Sarah) of Bloomsburg and Colton A. Fisher (Lindsay) of Saylorsburg; her brother Frank Deaner (Kay) of Lebanon; and her brother-in-law Robert Fisher of Bloomsburg. She is also survived by six grandchildren.
Her death followed a courageous 15 year battle with Alzheimer's disease.
