He was predeceased by: his parents, James Gillespie and Marjorie Gillespie (Ent); and his son Jonathan Gillespie. He is survived by: his close friend MaryAnn Gillespie of Bloomsburg; his daughter Julianne Gillespie (Sarah) of Alexandria, VA; and his siblings, James "Spike" Gillespie (Joyce) of Bloomsburg, Hervey Gillespie (Deborah) of Bloomsburg, Joseph Gillespie (Aom) of Thailand and Marjorie Evans (David) of New Tripoli. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
