She was predeceased by: her parents, George Long and Ruth Long (Hartzell); her husband Norman L. Howard; her son David L. Howard; her brothers, Paul Long, Collins Long and Albert Long; and her son-in-law Martin Horkey.
She is survived by: her children, Marqueen (John Herring) of Catawissa, Patricia Ball of Hazleton, Paul Howard (Sandra) of Berwick, Janet Horkey of Bloomsburg and Susan (Joel Barndt) of Bloomsburg. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and twelve great-great-grandchildren.
