He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Thomas and Lillian Thomas (Patton); his son Monty Earl Thomas; his siblings, Larue Thomas, Margaret Young, Joann Knittle, Donna Holdren and Deborah Thomas; and his siblings-in-law, Suzie Thomas, Nancy Thomas, Donald Young and William Lutz.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred E. Thomas of Bloomsburg; his daughter Michele E. Coombe (Tom) of Bloomsburg; his grandsons, Tom Coombe (Jennee) of Bloomsburg and Tyler Coombe (Casey) of Bloomsburg; his great grandchildren, Harper Coombe, Graham Coombe, Crue Coombe, Trey Coombe and Cooper Coombe; his siblings, Jean Lutz of Lightstreet, Donald Thomas of Lightstreet, Dale Thomas (Gail) of Rohrsburg and Richard Thomas of Lightstreet; and his brothers-in-law, Chet Knittle of Lightstreet and Richard Holdren of Jerseytown.
