He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wilbur and Elma M. Eckroth (Smith); and his brothers, Alvin C. Eckroth and Myron P. "Ecky" Eckroth. He is survived by: his wife Marie L. Eckroth; his children, David M. Eckroth of Berwick, Cindy M. Eckroth of Bloomsburg, Bonnie E. Adams of Bloomsburg and Andria E. Houston of Mooresville, NC; and his grandchildren, Autumn M. Trieu (James Roop) of Greenbrier, TN, Andrew J. Adams of Catawissa, Kylie L. Houston of Mooresville, NC and Kara M. Houston of Mooresville, NC..
