He is survived by : his children, Douglas Carper of Hazleton, Bryan Carper (Mary) of Shickshinny and Lori Ann Bittenbender (Carl) of Pittston; and his siblings, John Carper of Danville and Grace Phillips of Orangeville. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 12th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. - Bloomsburg (745 Market St, Bloomsburg, PA 17815). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
