He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis L. Grasley and Carrie E. Grasley (Sult). He is survived by: his wife Sandra J. Pursel; his children, Steven D. Grasley (Ruth Ann) and Crystal Andrezze (Grasley); his grandchildren, Amanda Smith (Andrezze), Jessica Angove (Andrezze), Jessica Brindle (Igneri), Kerysa Grasley and Steven D. Grasley, Jr.; his great grandchildren, Madison, Kinsleigh, Leo, Maverick and Colt; and his brother Dr. Randall Grasley (Rozann).
